Shloka 2.77.20

और्ध्वदैहिकक्रिया-शोकविलापः (Obsequies for Daśaratha and the Brothers’ Lament)

ततो विषण्णौ श्रान्तौ च शत्रुघ्नभरतावुभौ।।।।धरण्यां संव्यवेष्टेतां भग्नशृङ्गाविवर्षभौ।

tato viṣaṇṇau śrāntau ca śatrughnabharatāv ubhau | dharaṇyāṃ saṃvyaveṣṭetāṃ bhagnaśṛṅgāv ivarṣabhau ||

Then Bharata and Śatrughna, both dejected and worn with fatigue, lay writhing upon the earth like two bulls whose horns are broken.

Thereafter, both Satrughna and Bharata, dejected and exhausted, lay writhing on the floor like two bulls with their horns broken.

Overcome by sorrow, the two brothers collapse and writhe on the ground.
