Shloka 2.3.12

यौवराज्याभिषेक-उपकल्पनम् (Preparations for Rama’s Installation as Yuvaraja)

यच्चान्यत्किञ्चिदेष्टव्यं तत्सर्वमुपकल्प्यताम्।।।।अन्तःपुरस्य द्वाराणि सर्वस्य नगरस्य च।चन्दनस्रग्भिरर्च्यन्तां धूपैश्च घ्राणहारिभिः।।।।

yac cānyat kiñcid eṣṭavyaṃ tat sarvam upakalpyatām ||2.3.12||

antaḥpurasya dvārāṇi sarvasya nagarasya ca |

candanasragbhir arcyantāṃ dhūpaiś ca ghrāṇahāribhiḥ ||2.3.13||

“And whatever else—even the smallest thing—must be procured, let it all be duly arranged. Let the gates of the inner apartments, and of the whole city as well, be honored and adorned with sandalwood and garlands, and with sweet, fragrant incense.”

Even the smallest items required be arranged. Let the gates of the inner apartment and of the entire city be decorated with sandalpaste and garlands. Let fragrant incense be burnt for worship.
