Once I depart into exile today, the king’s daughter—her aim accomplished—will then, without hesitation, have her son Bharata consecrated.

Immediately after my departure to the forest, the king's (Kekaya's) daughter having accomplished her objective, will enthrone Bharata without any distraction.

Rāma accepts political reversal without resorting to adharma; he recognizes the succession will proceed and does not advocate violence or disruption.

Rāma predicts the immediate political outcome: after his exile, Bharata will be enthroned.

Detachment and restraint—Rāma does not cling to power even when it is taken away.
