Shloka 2.15.45
अभिषेकसज्जा तथा सुमन्त्रस्य प्रेषणम् (Coronation Preparations and Sumantra’s Commission)
महेन्द्रसद्मप्रतिमं तु वेश्मरामस्य रम्यं मृगपक्षि जुष्टम्।ददर्श मेरोरिव श्रुङ्गमुच्चंविभ्राजमानं प्रभया सुमन्त्रः।।2.15.45।।
mahendrasadmapratimaṃ tu veśma
rāmasya ramyaṃ mṛgapakṣijuṣṭam |
dadarśa meror iva śṛṅgam uccaṃ
vibhrājamānaṃ prabhayā sumantraḥ || 2.15.45 ||
Sumantra beheld Rama’s lovely residence—frequented by animals and birds—resembling Mahendra’s mansion, and shining like the lofty summit of Mount Meru with its radiance.
Sumantra beheld Rama's palace which resembled the high summit of mount Meru shining with splendour. Filled with animals and birds, if looked like the abode of Indra.
Dharma is portrayed as radiant excellence that harmonizes power with auspiciousness: the rightful ruler’s domain appears elevated, orderly, and life-filled, signaling ethical fitness for kingship.
