Those two Rāghavas—noble, handsome, and radiant with their own splendor—set forth holding their bows, with Sītā accompanying them.

We seek your permission to go with the great sages, who are ever engaged in righteousness, self-controlled by virtue of their penance, and are like flameless fire.

Dharma is the harmony of inner virtue and outer action: their radiance symbolizes moral stature, while the held bows indicate readiness to uphold righteousness through protection.

Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa depart on their forest-route accompanied by Sītā, continuing their mission among the hermitages of Daṇḍakāraṇya.

Courage with restraint: they are formidable yet composed, moving forward with purpose and responsibility.
