पम्पादर्शनम् — Vision of Lake Pampā and the Turn toward Sugrīva
स चिन्तयित्वा धर्मात्मा प्रभावं तं महात्मनाम्।हितकारिणमेकाग्रं लक्ष्मणं राघवोऽब्रवीत्।।3.75.2।।
etaiś cānyaiś ca vihagair nāditaṃ tu vanaṃ mahat | tato jagmatur avyagrau rāghavau susamāhitau || 3.75.19 ||
tad vanaṃ caiva sarasaḥ paśyantai śakunair yutam |
That great forest rang with the calls of these and other birds. Then the two Rāghavas—untroubled and self-possessed—went on, gazing at the woodland and the lake, thronged with birds.
Thinking about the power of the great sages, righteous Rama said to Lakshmana, his well-wisher with single-minded devotion:
Steadiness of mind: even amid intense circumstances, the brothers proceed without agitation, embodying disciplined conduct (samyama) aligned with Dharma.
Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa move through a bird-filled forest near a lake, observing the scene as they continue their journey.
