कबन्धमोक्षः—सुग्रीवमैत्र्युपदेशः (Kabandha’s Release and Counsel to Befriend Sugriva)
न तस्याविदितं लोकेकिञ्चिदस्ति हि राघव।।।।यावत्सूर्यः प्रतपति सहस्रांशुररिन्दम।
na tasyāviditaṃ loke kiñcid asti hi rāghava | yāvat sūryaḥ pratapati sahasrāṃśur arindama ||
Nothing in the world is unknown to him, O Rāghava—so long as the thousand-rayed Sun shines, O subduer of foes.
There is nothing unknown to Sugriva in this world as far as the Sun shines, O subduer of enemies!
Seeking capable assistance for a righteous mission: Dharma values competence and wide knowledge when pursuing justice and rescue.
Rāma is encouraged to trust Sugrīva’s far-reaching knowledge as essential for locating Sītā.
