Shloka 3.72.22

कबन्धमोक्षः—सुग्रीवमैत्र्युपदेशः (Kabandha’s Release and Counsel to Befriend Sugriva)

स हि स्थानानि सर्वाणि कार्त्स्न्येन कपिकुञ्जरः।।।।नरमांसाशिनां लोके नैपुण्यादधिगच्छति।

sa hi sthānāni sarvāṇi kārtsnyena kapikuñjaraḥ | naramāṃsāśināṃ loke naipuṇyād adhigacchati ||

For that foremost of monkeys, with skill and tact, knows in full all the haunts in the world of man-eating beings.

He is the foremost of the monkeys. He knows well by his wisdom all thedwelling-places of the carnivorous demons in the world.

Right means for a righteous end: Dharma supports using competent guidance and local knowledge to counter violence and protect the innocent.
