For Maithilī’s sake, with irresistible arrows drawn back to the ear, I will make this world of living beings free of piśācas and rākṣasas.
For the sake of Maithili I will render this world devoid of goblins and demons with my irresistible arrows pulled up to my ears.
Dharma here is framed as protecting the innocent and removing predatory forces (piśācas/rākṣasas) that violate social and cosmic order.
Rāma, in grief and rage after Sītā’s kidnapping, vows a sweeping purge of demonic forces to restore order and recover her.
Resolute determination (dṛḍha-saṅkalpa) in defense of justice, though expressed in extreme, destructive language.
