सीतावियोगे रामविलापः (Rāma’s Lament in Separation from Sītā)
कदलीस्कन्धसदृशौ कदल्या संवृतावुभौ।ऊरू पश्यामि ते देवि नासि शक्ता निगूहितुम्।।3.62.4।।

Sītā, my beloved—why jest when I am worn with fatigue? Even such play does not please me now, O lady.
O Devi! I can see both your thighs which resemble banana trunk hidden behind a banana plant. It is not possible for you to hide them from me.
Right conduct is contextual: dharma includes knowing what is fitting (aucitya). What may be harmless in ease becomes improper in crisis.
Rāma, fatigued and distressed, continues calling for Sītā, still half-imagining her presence.
Appropriateness and restraint—Rāma insists on seriousness when circumstances demand it.
