Transliteration

laṅkā nāma samudrasya mama madhye mahāpurī | sāgareṇa parikṣiptā niviṣṭā nagamūrdhani ||

Translation

My great city, named Laṅkā, lies in the midst of the sea—encircled by the ocean and set upon a mountain peak.
