Shloka 3.47.22

सीतारावणसंवादः — Ravana Reveals Himself; Sita Affirms Rama’s Dharma

समाश्वस मुहूर्तं तु शक्यं वस्तुमिह त्वया।।3.47.22।।आगमिष्यति मे भर्ता वन्यमादाय पुष्कलम्।रुरून्गोधा न्वराहांश्च हत्वाऽदायाऽमिषान्बहून्।।3.47.23।।

samāśvasa muhūrtaṃ tu śakyaṃ vastum iha tvayā | āgamiṣyati me bhartā vanyam ādāya puṣkalam ||

Rest here for a moment; you can stay here. My husband will return, bringing abundant provisions from the forest.

Rest here awhile. My husband will return with plenty of meat of many kinds from the forest, killing deer, alligators and wild boars.

Atithi-dharma (the duty of hospitality): even in hardship, Sītā offers rest and care to a guest, reflecting a dharmic culture of honoring visitors.
