अरण्यकाण्डे एकोनत्रिंशः सर्गः (Sarga 29: Rama’s Admonition to Khara and the Shattering of the Mace)

अद्य त्वां निहतं बाणैः पश्यन्तु परमर्षयः।निरयस्थं विमानस्था ये त्वया हिंसिताः पुरा।।।।

adya tvāṃ nihataṃ bāṇaiḥ paśyantu paramarṣayaḥ | nirayasthaṃ vimānasthā ye tvayā hiṃsitāḥ purā ||

May the great seers—whom you once tormented—behold you today, struck down by arrows, fallen into hell, as they look on from their celestial cars.

The great seers whom you have earlier tortured and killed will, from their aerial vehicles, see you fallen into hell.

R
Rama
K
Khara
P
paramarṣayaḥ (great seers)
V
vimāna (celestial car)
N
niraya (hell)

Moral accountability: violence against seers and the righteous brings inevitable consequence, portrayed as a fall into niraya (hell).

In the midst of the duel, Rama foretells Khara’s death and imagines the wronged seers witnessing divine retribution.

Rama’s commitment to satya and dharma: he speaks as an agent of justice for those harmed.
