पञ्चाप्सरो-सरः कथनम् तथा अगस्त्याश्रममार्गनिर्देशः (Panchapsara Lake Account and Directions to Agastya)
योजनान्याश्रमात्तात याहि चत्वारि वै ततः।।।।दक्षिणेन महान् श्रीमानगस्त्यभ्रातुराश्रमः।
yojanāny āśramāt tāta yāhi catvāri vai tataḥ | dakṣiṇena mahān śrīmān agastyabhrātur āśramaḥ ||
Dear child, go four yojanas from this hermitage; beyond that, to the south, lies the great and splendid hermitage of Agastya’s brother.
Dear Rama, walk from here a distance of four yojanas. There in the southerly direction stands the great, beautiful hermitage of Agastya's brother.
Dharma is practical support for righteous aims: the sage provides concrete directions so Rāma can properly honor and learn from elders.
Sutīkṣṇa gives route guidance—distance and direction—toward the hermitage connected with Agastya’s family.
Helpful precision and hospitality in counsel; the forest-dwelling sage assists the dharmic traveler.
