Matsya Purana — Yadu Lineage
दैत्यांश्च दानवांश्चैव संयतान्किल संयुतान् जयन्कोलाहले सर्वान् देवैः परिवृतो वृषा //
daityāṃśca dānavāṃścaiva saṃyatānkila saṃyutān jayankolāhale sarvān devaiḥ parivṛto vṛṣā //
He—bull-like in prowess—surrounded by the gods, defeated all those Daityas and Dānavas who had been marshalled and joined in battle, even amid the roar and tumult of war.
This verse does not describe Pralaya; it depicts a Devasura battle where a bull-like hero, backed by the gods, defeats the Daityas and Dānavas amid battlefield tumult.
Indirectly, it models the kṣātra ethic of protecting order: victory over disruptive forces (Daityas/Dānavas) symbolizes the ruler’s duty to uphold dharma with the support of righteous allies.
No Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual procedure is stated in this verse; its focus is martial—defeating hostile forces in the din of battle.
