Matsya Purana — The Pushkara Manifestation
*ब्रह्मोवाच य एष कपिलो ब्रह्म नारायणमयस्तथा वदते भवतस्तत्त्वं तत्कुरुष्व महामते //
*brahmovāca ya eṣa kapilo brahma nārāyaṇamayastathā vadate bhavatastattvaṃ tatkuruṣva mahāmate //
Brahmā said: “This Kapila—who is Brahman itself, pervaded by Nārāyaṇa—declares the true principle concerning you. Therefore, O great-minded one, act in accordance with that truth.”
It does not describe Pralaya directly; it emphasizes tattva (ultimate truth) and the authority of Kapila’s instruction as grounded in Nārāyaṇa, implying that cosmic doctrines should be followed as revealed by divine-aligned sages.
The verse frames dharma as action aligned with tattva: rulers and householders should base decisions on true principles taught by authoritative, divinely rooted teachers—not merely on opinion or convenience.
No specific Vāstu or ritual procedure is stated; the takeaway is methodological—rituals, vows, and temple practices should be performed in conformity with tattva as taught by legitimate tradition (here, Kapila identified with Nārāyaṇa).
