Matsya Purana — The Observance of Ananta-Tritiya
पूजयेच्छुक्लपुष्पैश्च फलैर्नानाविधैरपि धान्यकाजाजिलवणैर् गुडक्षीरघृतान्वितैः //
pūjayecchuklapuṣpaiśca phalairnānāvidhairapi dhānyakājājilavaṇair guḍakṣīraghṛtānvitaiḥ //
One should perform worship with white flowers and with many kinds of fruits as well—along with coriander seed, cumin, salt, and offerings accompanied by jaggery, milk, and ghee.
This verse does not discuss pralaya; it focuses on practical worship procedure—specifying auspicious offerings used in puja.
It frames a householder’s (and by extension a ruler’s) dharma as maintaining proper daily/occasional worship through pure, sattvic offerings—flowers, fruits, and sanctified food items like milk and ghee.
Ritually, it lists standard naivedya and upacāra materials; the emphasis on white flowers and dairy-based offerings aligns with sattva-oriented temple/house worship protocols rather than architectural measurements.
