Matsya Purana — The Greatness and Procedure of the Aṅgāra
साधु साधु महाबाहो विरोचन शिवं तव तत्तथा हसितं तस्य पप्रच्छ सुरसूदनः //
sādhu sādhu mahābāho virocana śivaṃ tava tattathā hasitaṃ tasya papraccha surasūdanaḥ //
“Well said, well said, O mighty-armed Virocana—may auspiciousness be yours.” Having spoken thus, Surasūdana then asked him about that very smile.
This verse does not address pralaya or cosmology; it is a brief narrative moment of praise followed by an inquiry about Virocana’s smile.
Indirectly, it models ideal discourse: commend what is well-spoken (“sādhu sādhu”) and then ask clarifying questions—an ethical pattern valued in Purāṇic instruction for rulers and householders alike.
No Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual procedure is stated in this verse; it functions as connective dialogue within a narrative episode.
