Even today, the immortals in heaven indeed partake of the portions offered in sacrifice; and Viṣṇu does not abandon Śrī (fortune and sovereignty), but remains steadfast, with all delusion dispelled.
It does not describe Pralaya directly; it emphasizes the ongoing cosmic order in which devas continue to receive sacrificial portions, and Viṣṇu remains unwavering beyond delusion—an idea that underlies stability across cycles.
It supports the dharmic duty of performing yajña (or sustaining ritual charity and offerings): sacrifices nourish the divine order, and aligning one’s conduct with that order is presented as a path to stead contributing to prosperity (śrī) and clarity (freedom from भ्रम).
Ritually, it affirms the doctrine of yajña-aṃśa—offerings apportioned to devas—supporting correct homa/oblations; while not a Vāstu rule, it underpins temple and fire-altar worship where offerings are made to sustain devas and invoke śrī.
