Matsya Purana — Dynastic Genealogies: Paurava–Anu Lines
जयद्रथं तु राजानं यशोदेवी ह्य् अजीजनत् सा बृहन्मनसः सत्या विजयं नाम विश्रुतम् //
jayadrathaṃ tu rājānaṃ yaśodevī hy ajījanat sā bṛhanmanasaḥ satyā vijayaṃ nāma viśrutam //
Yaśodevī bore the king Jayadratha. From Bṛhanmanā, Satyā gave birth to a son renowned by the name Vijaya.
This verse does not discuss pralaya; it is a genealogical record naming royal births and succession within a dynasty.
Indirectly, it reflects the Purāṇic emphasis on legitimate succession and continuity of the royal household (kula), which underpins dharmic governance, inheritance, and social stability.
No Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual procedure is stated in this verse; its focus is strictly on lineage and renowned offspring.
