Matsya Purana — Dynastic Genealogies: Paurava–Anu Lines
*सूत उवाच तुर्वसोस्तु सुतो गर्भो गोभानुस्तस्य चात्मजः गोभानोस्तु सुतो वीरस् त्रिसारिरपराजितः //
*sūta uvāca turvasostu suto garbho gobhānustasya cātmajaḥ gobhānostu suto vīras trisāriraparājitaḥ //
Sūta said: From Turvasu was born a son named Garbha; and his son was Gobhānu. From Gobhānu was born the heroic son Trisāri, the unconquered.
This verse does not discuss pralaya; it records royal genealogy (vamśa), preserving lineage memory rather than cosmology.
Indirectly, it supports the Purāṇic ideal of dynastic continuity—kingship is framed as a hereditary responsibility where fame and dharma are carried through descendants.
No vastu/ritual procedure is mentioned; the focus is strictly on naming successive descendants in the Turvasu line.
