Matsya Purana — Division of Bhārata-varṣa
दश वर्षसहस्राणि स्थितिः किम्पुरुषे स्मृता जायन्ते मानवास्तत्र सुतप्तकनकप्रभाः //
daśa varṣasahasrāṇi sthitiḥ kimpuruṣe smṛtā jāyante mānavāstatra sutaptakanakaprabhāḥ //
In Kimpuruṣa, the span of life is remembered to be ten thousand years; and the humans born there shine with the luster of well-heated, refined gold.
This verse does not describe pralaya; it belongs to the cosmographic section, stating the extraordinary lifespan and radiant appearance of humans in Kimpuruṣa-varṣa.
Indirectly, it frames an idealized human condition (long life and splendor) used in Purāṇic geography to contrast regions; it does not prescribe rājadharma or gṛhastha-dharma in this specific line.
No Vāstu/ritual rule is stated here; the verse is descriptive (lokavarṇana), focusing on longevity and bodily radiance.
