पाण्डवपरिचयः—विराटसभायां प्रकाशनम्
Identification of the Pāṇḍavas in Virāṭa’s Court
लब्ध्वा हि संज्ञां तु कुरुप्रवीरा: पार्थ निरीक्ष्याथ सुरेन्द्रकल्पम् । रणे विमुक्तं स्थितमेकमाजौ स धार्तराष्ट्रस्त्वरितं बभाषे,थोड़ी देर बाद होशमें आकर कौरववीरोंने देखा, देवराज इन्द्रके समान पराक्रमी कुन्तीपुत्र अर्जुन युद्धमें रथोंके घेरेसे बाहर हो अकेले खड़े हैं। उन्हें इस अवस्थामें देखकर धृतराष्ट्रपुत्र दुर्योधन तुरंत बोल उठा--
labdhvā hi saṁjñāṁ tu kurupravīrāḥ pārtha nirīkṣyātha surendrakalpam | raṇe vimuktaṁ sthitam ekam ājau sa dhārtarāṣṭras tvaritaṁ babhāṣe ||
When the Kuru heroes regained consciousness, they looked and saw Pārtha (Arjuna), mighty like Indra, standing alone on the battlefield, having broken free from the press of chariots. Seeing him in that condition, the son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Duryodhana) spoke at once in haste—setting the next turn of the encounter in motion.
