तस्मै प्रयतमानाय सारथ्यर्थ बृहन्नले । आचचक्षे हयज्ञाने सैरन्ध्री कौशलं तव,“बृहन्नले! वे सारथि ढूँढ़नेका प्रयत्न कर रहे थे, इतनेमें ही सैरन्ध्रीने पहुँचकर यह बताया कि तुम अश्वविद्यामें कुशल हो
tasmai prayatamānāya sārathy-arthaṃ bṛhannale | ācacakṣe hayajñāne sairandhrī kauśalaṃ tava ||
Vaiśampāyana said: As he was striving to find a charioteer, Sairandhrī approached and informed him, “O Bṛhannalā, you are skilled in the knowledge of horses.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Dharma is supported not only by vows and ideals but also by timely, competent action: recognizing skill (kauśala) and offering prudent counsel can protect the righteous and prevent avoidable danger.
Someone is seeking a charioteer; at that moment Sairandhrī arrives and points out that Bṛhannalā is proficient in horsemanship, effectively recommending Bṛhannalā for the charioteer-related task.
