Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 21 — Kīcaka’s clandestine approach and Bhīma’s covert intervention (नर्तनागारे कीचकवध-प्रसङ्गः)

द्युमत्सेनसुतं वीर॑ सत्यवन्तमनिन्दिता । सावित्र्यनुचचारैका यमलोकं॑ मनस्विनी,सती-साध्वी मनस्विनी सावित्री द्युमत्सेनके पुत्र वीरवर सत्यवान्‌के मर जानेपर उनके पीछे-पीछे अकेली ही यमलोककी ओर गयी थी

dyumatsenasutaṁ vīra satyavantam aninditā | sāvitrī anucacāraikā yamalokaṁ manasvinī ||

Bhīmasena said: “The blameless, resolute Sāvitrī—when the heroic Satyavān, son of Dyumatsena, had died—followed him all alone, even toward Yama’s realm.”
