यत्‌ तु मे वचनस्यास्य कथितस्य प्रयोजनम्‌ । पृच्छ मां दु:खितां तत्त्वं पृष्टा चात्र ब्रवीमि ते,मैंने इस समय जो ये बातें कही हैं, इनका कया प्रयोजन है? यह मुझ दुखियासे पूछो। तुम्हारे पूछनेपर यहाँ मैं यथार्थ बात बताती हूँ, सुनो

Translation

“But what is the purpose of these words I have spoken? Ask me—the sorrowing one—what the truth is. When you ask, I shall tell you here what is real; listen.”
