द्रौपद्याः भीमसेन-प्रबोधनम्

Draupadī Awakens Bhīmasena

ये दद्युर्न च याचेयुर्ब्रह्म॒ण्या: सत्यवादिन: । तेषां मां मानिनीं भार्या सूतपुत्र: पदावधीत्‌,“जो सदा दूसरोंको देते हैं, किंतु किसीसे याचना नहीं करते, जो ब्राह्मणभक्त तथा सत्यवादी हैं, उनन्‍्हींकी मुझ मानिनी पत्नीको सूतपुत्रने लात मारी है

ye dadyur na ca yāceyur brahmaṇyāḥ satyavādinaḥ | teṣāṃ māṃ māninīṃ bhāryā sūtaputraḥ padāvadhīt ||

“Those who are ever-giving yet never beg, who are devoted to the brāhmaṇas and steadfast in truth—of such a man, his dignified wife, me, has been struck with a kick by the son of a charioteer.”
