अनेन विधिना यस्तु पृथिवीं संचरिष्यति । अश्वमेधशतस्याग्रयं फल प्रेत्य स भोक्ष्यति,जो इस विधिसे ([तीर्थयात्राके उद्देश्यसे) सारी पृथ्वीकी परिक्रमा करेगा, वह सौ अश्वमेधयज्ञोंसे भी उत्तम पुण्यफल पाकर देहत्यागके पश्चात् उसका उपभोग करेगा
Transliteration
anena vidhinā yastu pṛthivīṃ sañcariṣyati | aśvamedhaśatasya agryaṃ phalaṃ pretya sa bhokṣyati ||
Translation
Nārada said: “Whoever, following this prescribed method, travels throughout the earth as a pilgrimage, will obtain a merit superior even to that of a hundred Aśvamedha sacrifices; and after leaving the body, he will enjoy that exalted fruit in the hereafter.”
