ऐकाग्रयं च तथोत्साहं हयसंग्रहणं च तत्‌ । परं यत्नं च सम्प्रेक्ष्य परां मुदमवाप ह,उसकी वह एकाग्रता, वह उत्साह, घोड़ोंको काबूमें रखनेकी वह कला और वह उत्तम प्रयत्न देखकर उन्हें बड़ी प्रसन्नता प्राप्त हुई

aikāgryaṃ ca tathotsāhaṃ hayasaṃgrahaṇaṃ ca tat | paraṃ yatnaṃ ca samprekṣya parāṃ mudam avāpa ha ||

R̥tuparṇa said: Seeing his single-pointed concentration, his spirited resolve, his skill in controlling and managing the horses, and his exceptional effort, he was filled with great delight.
