दमयन्तीस्वयंवरः — देववेषधारणं, सत्यप्रार्थना, नलवरणम्

Damayantī’s Svayaṃvara: Divine Disguises, Truth-Vow, and Choosing Nala

ततस्ते शुश्रुवु: सर्वे नारदस्य वचो महत्‌ | श्रुत्वैव चाब्रुवन्‌ हृष्टा गच्छामो वयमप्युत,तदनन्तर उन सबने नारदजीकी ये विशिष्ट बातें सुनीं। सुनते ही वे सब-के-सब हर्षोल्लाससे परिपूर्ण हो बोले--“हमलोग भी उस स्वयंवरमें चलें”

tataste śuśruvuḥ sarve nāradasya vaco mahat | śrutvaiva cābruvan hṛṣṭā gacchāmo vayam apy uta ||

Then all of them listened to the great words of Nārada. The moment they heard him, they replied with delight, saying, “We too shall go there—to that svayaṃvara.”
