सुमुहूर्त तु तद् युद्धमभभवल्लोमहर्षणम् | भुजप्रहारसंयुक्तं वृत्रवासवयोरिव,वृत्रासुर और इन्द्रके समान उन दोनोंका वह रोमांचकारी बाहुयुद्ध दो घड़ीतक चलता रहा
sumuhūrtaṃ tu tad yuddham abhavat lomaharṣaṇam | bhujaprahārasaṃyuktaṃ vṛtrāvāsavayor iva ||
For a short while, that combat became thrilling and hair-raising—an exchange of powerful blows with their arms—resembling the famed struggle between Vṛtra and Vāsava (Indra). The comparison underscores the intensity of valor and endurance in close combat, and hints at the cosmic scale and moral weight epic battles can evoke through mythic memory.
