ity uktvā phālgunaṃ śakro jagāmādarśanaṃ punaḥ | arjuno 'py atha tatraiva tasthau yogasamanvitaḥ ||
Having spoken thus to Phālguna (Arjuna), Śakra (Indra) vanished from sight once again. Thereafter Arjuna, endowed with yogic discipline, remained there, steady and composed.
After divine instruction or encouragement, one should not become complacent; instead, one should remain steady in disciplined practice (yoga), cultivating readiness and self-mastery to fulfill dharma when action is required.
Indra, having addressed Arjuna, disappears from view. Arjuna stays in the same place, absorbed in yogic discipline, indicating continued austerity and preparation following the divine encounter.
