भीष्माद्‌ द्रोणात्‌ कृपात्‌ कर्णाद द्रोणपुत्राच्च भारत । दुर्योधनान्नपसुतात्‌ तथा दुःशासनादपि,शत्रुहन्ता भारत! भीष्म, द्रोण, कृपाचार्य, कर्ण, अश्वत्थामा, धृतराष्ट्रपुत्र दुर्योधन और दुःशासनसे भी जो तुम्हारे मनमें भय समा गया है, उसे मैं शास्त्रीय उपायसे नष्ट कर दूँगा

Transliteration

bhīṣmād droṇāt kṛpāt karṇād droṇaputrācca bhārata | duryodhanān napasutāt tathā duḥśāsanād api ||

Translation

Vyāsa said: “O Bhārata, the fear that has entered your mind—of Bhīṣma, Droṇa, Kṛpa, Karṇa, Droṇa’s son (Aśvatthāmā), and also of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s son Duryodhana and of Duḥśāsana—I shall remove by means sanctioned by the śāstras.”
