यन्न मोहान्न कार्पण्यान्न लोभान्न भयादपि । अनृतं किंचिदुक्त ते न कामान्नार्थकारणात्‌,“उनका कहना है कि आपने कभी न तो मोहसे, न दीनतासे, न लोभसे, न भयसे, न कामनासे और न धनके ही कारणसे किंचिन्मात्र भी असत्य भाषण किया है

yan na mohān na kārpaṇyān na lobhān na bhayād api | anṛtaṃ kiñcid uktaṃ te na kāmān nārtha-kāraṇāt ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “They declare that you have never spoken even the slightest untruth—neither out of delusion, nor out of faint-heartedness, nor from greed, nor even from fear; neither for the sake of desire nor for any material advantage.”
