Adhiratha-Rādhā Discover the Casket; Vasuṣeṇa (Karṇa) is Adopted and Formed

अपनीतं त्वया दुःखमिदं सत्यपराक्रम | श्रीरामचन्द्रजीको जनकनन्दिनी सीताके साथ विराजमान देख इन्द्रसारथि मातलिको बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई। उसने सब सुहृदोंके बीचमें इस प्रकार कहा--'सत्यपराक्रमी श्रीराम! आपने देवता, गन्धर्व, यक्ष, मनुष्य, असुर और नाग--इन सबका दु:ख दूर कर दिया है

apanītaṁ tvayā duḥkham idaṁ satyaparākrama | śrīrāmacandraṁ janakanandinī-sītayā saha virājamānaṁ dṛṣṭvā indrasārathiḥ mātaliḥ mahāprasannaḥ abhavat | sa sarvasu hṛtsu madhye evaṁ uvāca— “satyaparākrama śrīrāma! tvayā devāḥ gandharvāḥ yakṣāḥ manuṣyāḥ asurāḥ nāgāś ca—eteṣāṁ sarveṣāṁ duḥkhaṁ apākṛtam” ||

Mārkaṇḍeya said: “O Rāma of unfailing valor, this suffering has been removed by you.” When Indra’s charioteer Mātali saw Śrī Rāmacandra seated in splendor with Sītā, Janaka’s daughter, he was filled with great joy. In the midst of all the well-wishers he spoke thus: “O Rāma, steadfast in truth and mighty in prowess! By you the distress of all—gods, Gandharvas, Yakṣas, humans, Asuras, and Nāgas—has been driven away.”
