समुत्तस्थुर्महाराज वानरा लब्धचेतस: । यह सुनकर ब्रह्माजीने कहा--'ऐसा ही हो।' महाराज! उनके इतना कहते ही सभी वानर चेतना प्राप्त करके जी उठे
samutthasthur mahārāja vānarā labdhacetasaḥ |
Mārkaṇḍeya said: “O great king, the vānaras rose up again, their consciousness restored.” When Brahmā assented, saying, “So be it,” the moment those words were spoken, all the vānaras regained awareness and returned to life.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The passage highlights the power of divine assent and the restoration that follows righteous intervention: when a higher authority grants ‘tathāstu’ (“so be it”), despair turns into renewed life and purpose.
After Brahmā agrees—effectively granting a boon—his words immediately take effect, and the vānaras, who had fallen, regain consciousness and rise up alive.
