Adhiratha-Rādhā Discover the Casket; Vasuṣeṇa (Karṇa) is Adopted and Formed

ततो वरं ददौ तस्मै हविन्ध्याय परंतप:

tato varaṃ dadau tasmai havindhyāya parantapaḥ

Then the mighty subduer of foes granted him a boon—bestowing a fitting reward upon Havindhya, in keeping with the moral order that honors worthy recipients and timely generosity.
