ततो देवान्‌ नमस्कृत्य सुहृद्धिरभिनन्दित:

Transliteration

tato devān namaskṛtya suhṛdbhir abhinanditaḥ

Translation

Then, having bowed in reverence to the gods, he was warmly greeted and applauded by his well-wishers—an act that frames the moment in humility and piety, and shows how righteous conduct is affirmed by the good.
