अग्निर॒वाच अहमन्त:शरीरस्थो भूतानां रघुनन्दन । सुसूक्ष्ममपि काकुत्स्थ मैथिली नापराध्यति,अग्निदेवने कहा--रघुनन्दन! मैं समस्त प्राणियोंके शरीरमें रहनेवाला अग्नि हूँ। मुझे मालूम है कि मिथिलेशकुमारीके द्वारा कभी सूक्ष्मसे भी सूक्ष्म अपराध नहीं हुआ है
Translation
Agni said: “O Raghunandana, I am the fire that dwells within the bodies of all beings. O Kakutstha, I know that Maithilī, the princess of Mithilā, has not committed even the slightest fault.”
