Educational Q&A

Access to higher realms is linked to disciplined austerity, sacrificial worship, and moral integrity—especially truthfulness and reverence for dharma; falsehood and denial of moral/religious order obstruct that attainment.

A divine messenger addresses Mudgala and states the qualifications for reaching a particular exalted realm, explicitly excluding those lacking tapas and great sacrificial worship, and those characterized by untruth and nāstikya.
