रावण–मारीचसंवादः तथा मृगप्रलोभनपूर्वकं सीताहरणोपक्रमः

पुरस्ताद्‌ ब्राह्मणास्तत्र लोकास्तेजोमया: शुभा: । यत्र यान्त्यूषयो ब्रह्मन्‌ पूता: स्वै: कर्मभि: शुभै:,उन सबसे ऊपर ब्रह्माजीके लोक हैं, जो अत्यन्त तेजस्वी एवं मंगलकारी हैं। ब्रह्मन! वहाँ अपने शुभ कर्मोसे पवित्र ऋषि, मुनि जाते हैं

purastād brāhmaṇās tatra lokās tejo-mayāḥ śubhāḥ | yatra yānty ṛṣayo brahman pūtāḥ svaiḥ karmabhiḥ śubhaiḥ ||

The divine messenger said: “Beyond these lie the radiant and auspicious worlds of the Brāhmaṇas—realms made of spiritual splendor. O Brāhmaṇa, it is to those regions that the purified seers go, made clean by their own noble deeds.”
