Vaiśampāyana said: “All your brothers are valiant heroes, and each is skilled in the science of weapons. They have left only a small remnant of the clans of the forest-dwellers.”

The verse highlights the power of martial expertise and implicitly invites reflection on restraint: even justified strength can become ethically troubling if it results in near-extermination of vulnerable forest communities or creatures.
Vaiśampāyana describes to the listener that the addressed person’s brothers are all brave and weapon-skilled, and that their actions in the forest have left only a small remnant of the forest-dwellers’ clans.
