Educational Q&A

A vow grounded in truth (satya) carries ethical weight and practical force: the reliability of a dharmic person’s word can restore confidence, shape decisions, and influence the course of events.

The Kauravas hear Arjuna’s solemn pledge; because he is known as a truthful man, they take it seriously, and their hearts—meaning their courage and resolve—revive.
