Draupadī’s Instruction on Marital Conduct and Household Discipline (चित्तग्रहण-उपदेश)

महतां चैव भूतानां सर्वेषामिह यः पति: । भगवान्‌ स महातेजा नित्यं चरति पावक:,“वे ही इस जगतके सम्पूर्ण महाभूतोंके पति हैं। उनमें सम्पूर्ण ऐश्वर्य सुशोभित हैं। वे महातेजस्वी अग्निदेव सदा सर्वत्र विचरण करते हैं

Transliteration

mahatāṃ caiva bhūtānāṃ sarveṣām iha yaḥ patiḥ | bhagavān sa mahātejā nityaṃ carati pāvakaḥ ||

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya said: “He who is the lord of all the great beings here—indeed of all beings—is the Blessed One. Endowed with mighty splendor, that Fire-god (Pāvaka) ever moves everywhere.”
