Adhyāya 22: Śālva’s Weapon-Shower, Dāruka’s Wounding, and the Māyā-Report of Vasudeva’s Father
ततोऊहं पर्वतचित: सहय: सहसारथि: । अप्रख्यातिमियां राजन सर्वतः पर्वतैश्चित:,राजन! मेरे चारों ओर शिलाखण्ड जमा हो गये थे। मैं घोड़ों और सारथिसहित प्रस्तरखण्डोंसे चुना-सा गया था, जिससे दिखायी नहीं देता था
tato ’haṃ parvatacitaḥ sahayaḥ sahasārathiḥ | aprakhyātim iyāṃ rājan sarvataḥ parvataiś citaḥ ||
Then, O king, I was heaped over with mountains of rock—together with my horses and my charioteer. Covered on every side by piled-up boulders, I became unrecognizable and could not be seen.
