दिव्यैश्व पुष्पैस्तं देवा: समन्तात् पर्यवारयन् । देवदुन्दुभयश्चापि नेदु: स्वयमनीरिता:,देवतालोग चारों ओरसे उनपर दिव्य फूलोंकी वर्षा करने लगे। देवताओंकी दुन्दुभियाँ स्वयं बिना किसी प्रेरणाके बज उठीं
divyaiś ca puṣpais taṃ devāḥ samantāt paryavārayan | devadundubhayaś cāpi neduḥ svayam anīritāḥ |
Mārkaṇḍeya said: The gods, from all sides, showered him with celestial flowers. And the divine kettledrums of the gods resounded of their own accord, without anyone setting them in motion—an auspicious sign of heavenly approval and the moral grandeur of the moment.
