ततो5हमपि कौन्तेय शराणामयुतान्‌ बहून्‌ आमन्त्रितानां धनुषा दिव्येन विधिनाक्षिपम्‌,कुन्तीनन्दन! तब मैंने भी अपने धनुषद्वारा दिव्य विधिसे अभिमन्त्रित किये हुए कई हजार बाण बरसाये

tato 'ham api kaunteya śarāṇām ayutān bahūn āmantritānāṃ dhanuṣā divyena vidhinā 'kṣipam

Then I too, O son of Kuntī, loosed from my divine bow many tens of thousands of arrows—arrows duly consecrated with sacred formulas—meeting their force with disciplined, righteous power.
