ब्राह्मणानुयात्रा—शौनकोपदेशः
Brāhmaṇas Follow into Exile and Śaunaka’s Instruction
रुद्रा: साध्यास्तथा55दित्या वसवो5थ तथाश्रिनौ । योगैश्वर्येण संयुक्ता धारयन्ति प्रजा इमा:,रुद्र, साध्य, आदित्य, वसु तथा दोनों अश्विनीकुमार योगजनित ऐश्वर्यसे युक्त होकर इन प्रजाजनोंका धारण-पोषण करते हैं
rudrāḥ sādhyās tathā ādityā vasavo ’tha tathāśvinau | yogaiśvaryeṇa saṃyuktā dhārayanti prajā imāḥ ||
Śaunaka said: “The Rudras, the Sādhyas, the Ādityas, the Vasus, and likewise the two Aśvins—endowed with the sovereign powers born of yoga—uphold and sustain these living beings.”
शौनक उवाच
That the stability of the world (prajā) depends on dharmic maintenance by higher powers; yogic mastery (yoga-aiśvarya) is portrayed not as self-display but as capacity used for protection and sustenance.
Śaunaka enumerates prominent divine groups—Rudras, Sādhyas, Ādityas, Vasus, and the Aśvin twins—stating that, empowered by yogic sovereignty, they uphold and nourish living beings, emphasizing cosmic administration and welfare.
