कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

आदितो मनुजव्याप्र कृत्स्नस्य जगत: क्षये । ये अन्तर्यामी आत्मा होनेसे सबको जानते हैं, परंतु इन्हें वेद भी नहीं जानते। नृपशिरोमणे! नरश्रेष्ठ! सम्पूर्ण जगत्का प्रलय होनेके पश्चात् इन आदिभूत परमेश्वरसे ही यह सम्पूर्ण आश्वर्यमय जगत् पुनः उत्पन्न हो जाता है
Translation
O tiger among men! The Ātman, the Inner Ruler (Antaryāmin) abiding within all, knows all beings; yet even the Vedas do not know Him. O crest-jewel of kings, O best of men! After the dissolution (pralaya) of the entire world, from that primordial Supreme Lord alone—Ādibhūta Parameśvara—this wondrous universe is born again.
