कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

नैके युगसहस्रान्तास्त्वया दृष्टा महामुने । न चापीह सम: कश्रिदायुष्मान् दृश्यते तव,“महामुने! आपने हजार-हजार युगोंके अन्तमें होनेवाले अनेक महाप्रलयके दृश्य देखे हैं। इस संसारमें आपके समान बड़ी आयुवाला दूसरा कोई पुरुष नहीं दिखायी देता
naike yugasahasrāntās tvayā dṛṣṭā mahāmune | na cāpīha samaḥ kaścid āyuṣmān dṛśyate tava ||
“O great sage, you have witnessed many mighty dissolutions of the world that come at the close of thousands upon thousands of ages. And in this world none is seen who equals you in longevity.”
